10 REASONS TO SEND YOUR CHILDREN TO SUMMER CAMP IN THE UK!

Summer Study Tour

The main focus is to make sure that those who do decide to partake in our camps are in a happy and safe environment and to help children try new things and activities and of course make new friends.  Summer camps can cultivate creativity and perception. Using our experience here at UKETS, we have carefully selected our cooperative institutions to ensure the strict safety and transitional learning for those flying to and from London.

  1. NEW PERSPECTIVE

The children from the jumps are given the opportunity to explore beautiful areas of England that is very rich in history, whilst making new international friends alongside learning a new language be it the second, third or fourth!  Especially if the child has never experienced Britain before, the will be a one of a kind experience for them. With the ability to choose from the historic town of Oxford or to visit one of the top schools in the country, Harrow School.  Whatever your child would like to take part in, UKETS is here to provide those services to you.

2. BUILDING CONFIDENCE AND DEVELOPING INDEPENDENCE

Even the shyest of children can benefit from spending some time away from their parents abroad.  Exploring and immersing themselves in a culture that is foreign to them and being able to grow in confidence and develop their self esteem as they tackle new activities, skills and experiencing and learning how to deal with people that they are not used to. Sometimes giving children the freedom to make their own decisions and plan their own time is a great way for them to develop their independence.

3. A BALANCE

There’s a change to the mundane routine that children experience pretty much all of the time that they are at school.  Usually this means sitting behind a desk, hours on end however at a summer camp the children spend their time also running around, swimming, hiking or playing sports giving them a great chance to move.  And as fantastic as it is to live in such a technological world, it is also great to encourage the children to stay active and focus on their talents.

4. LEARNING SOCIAL SKILLS

Of course a camp will provide a completely different experience than to what is experienced in school or living and socializing in your home environment.  Engaging with people from various backgrounds, schools and areas is one of the best ways to develop social skills and make new friends. More often than not the grouped activities or games at the camps are able to reinforce the importance of teamwork and will encourage those who are partaking to form bonds and take on different roles.  The children also learn how to respect one another alongside learning how to cooperate with other people. Your child will return home armed with a life-long skill alongside a memorable experience.

5. DEVELOP TALENTS

At some camps like the ones provided by UKETS, you are given the opportunity to take part in activities that may have not been encountered before i.e. horse riding, soccer/football, opera classes and much more.  There are lots of options to take advantage of; whatever it is there is always something for everyone.

6. MEMORIES – INCREDIBLE SIGHTSEEING

UKETS are proud of the memories created when children attend our summer camps. Being in the UK where there many beautiful and vibrant cities such as London, Manchester, Oxford etc; the children will have the chance to savour the completely British experience. Be it from eating traditional British foods or from experiencing the hustle and bustle of London and the various sights to see, this is an opportunity that kids will simply adore.  It’ll be a week that will be looked back at very fondly. Making lifelong friends and above all just having a great time amongst their peers.

7. EXPANDS DIVERSITY

A summer camp provides your child with the opportunity to meet with other children from different parts of the globe, and in many cases their paths wouldn’t normally cross.  The is a superb way for them to be exposed to new cultures, especially if they don’t travel much or meet people from outside their own countries. Children who are exposed in this way are better equipped for the experience that will probably have later on in their lives.  Why not teach these future leaders and citizens from a younger age? Equip them for a bigger, better and brighter future.

8. FEELING SUCCESSFUL

Attending a summer camp with our cooperative prestigious institutions will definitely increase the sense or feeling of success, as the children are exposed to various lifelong skills.  And if they partake in other classes such as opera or art classes they will return home not only possibly learning something new but also improving their level of skill. Ah, the feeling of accomplishment!  With some of those skills probable staying with children for a lifetime.

9. FREEING UP YOUR TIME

Sending your child to one of our camps definitely gives you time to focus on your own work. Many parents must work throughout the summer holidays and want to make sure their children have something fun to do whilst learning at the same time.  With various things to do we at UKETS can assure parents have left their children in a very safe and fun environment whilst the parents/guardians take care of things are home.

10. HAVING FUN!

Last but most definitely not least.  Having FUN! Your child will have a tremendous amount of fun that they will never forget.  Whilst most of the courses provided include educational elements, there is always enough time for the children to enjoy themselves and have fun with their peers.  These sessions are carefully designed and chosen by our supervisors at our headquarters.
